My final project focused on taking an established IP and bringing them to the mobile platform by designing for mobile from the ground up. The project started by creating some case studios which can be viewed here. Once those we're completed they were used to inform the creating of Game Design Documents and Mock ups for the two concepts below.
The first design was taking Dead Cells to mobile. For this design the goal was for it to be a quick rogue like that someone can pick up and play with one hand. The movement of the character would be controlled by swiping on the screen which would cause the character to dash in that direction. Items would allow the player to improve certain stats and abilities.
The Second Design was to take the Bioshock IP and create a shelter building game where you right throw and try to rebuild Rapture. The player must take back sections of buildings from Splicers and other enemies. Once they've captured a room, it can be used to produce certain items or resources. This would be impeded by Splicer attacks and other challenges.
